Biography

David Boulanger completed a B.A. in history at Université de Montréal as well as a M.A. in medical history from the same establishment. His field of research is military medicine and teaching of medicine, especially for the Modern and Contemporary periods in France. He also completed several courses about distance learning at Téluq University (professional development). His other fields of interest are international relations, video games and education as well as etiquette (Gentlemanship).

Prior to his hiring, Mr. Boulanger was a high school history teacher. He also worked for a scientific historical review (Cahiers d’histoire). He participated in symposiums at Mont-Laurier College (2006) and Mont-Tremblant (2015) as well as collaborated with Quebec Science journal (2014) and French CBC Radio (Les années lumières, 2014). About the topic of Gentlemanship, he has been interviewed on television (MaTV – My Curious City, 2019) and radio (French CBC, Un Phare dans la Nuit, 2021).
