Biography

Alexandre Giguère is an assistant professor of Chemistry at the Royal Military College of Saint-Jean since 2023. He holds a M. Sc. in Medicinal Chemistry and a Ph. D. in Theoretical Chemistry from University of Montreal. His research interest focuses on the application of machine learning to molecular electronic devices discoveries. He is also interested in merging deep learning and decision making under deep uncertainty in climate security, notably as part of a project led by Bruno Charbonneau (RMC Saint-Jean).

He co-organized the Leadersphere 2025 Conference, "Turbulence: Canada in the midst of the climate crisis", co-hosted by Royal Military College Saint-Jean and the NATO Centre of Excellence on Climate Change and Security (CCASCOE).
