Mr. Imbeault was born in Val-d'Or (Abitibi, Quebec). Throughout his life, Mr. Imbeault has lived for several years in Paris, France. While in Paris, he studied philosophy with Professor Jacques Bouveresse at the University of Sorbonne. In addition, he has taught Philosophy at several universities, both in English and French, and has written a number of books and academic journal articles.
Besides teaching Philosophy and Leadership at Royal Military College of Canada, Mr. Imbeault currently research in the fields of Politics and Ethics. Hobbies: Marc Imbeault enjoys cycling, which also keeps him healthy. He is a long-time chess enthusiast; he plays competitively and loves to teach others to play.
Mr. Imbeault is member of the United States Naval Institute (USNA, Annapolis), Inter University Seminar on Armed Forces and Society (University of Chicago), Association internationale de pédagogie universitaire (École de technologie supérieure, Montréal) and of the Canadian Philosophical Association (University of Ottawa).
