Sébastien Hinse

Sebastien Hinse obtained his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and American History from McGill University in 2000. He then moved to the University of Montreal where he completed his master’s degree in Political Science in 2003. His thesis focused on the role and the weight of a reunified Germany in an enlarged European Union. During these studies, Mr. Hinse also paid a particular interest to the project of the European Security and Defense Policy (ESDP). In the course of his master’s, he also worked as a teaching assistant for the Political Science Department of the University of Montreal. Mr.Hinse completed the NATO E&IT Instructor Course from NATO School Oberammergau.

After a first interim mandate from 2015 to 2017, Mr.Hinse has been appointed Head of the Professional Military Education Department of the Academic Wing of RMC St-Jean in July 2019.

Before joining the then Non-Commissioned Members Professional Development Center (NCMPDC) in 2007, Mr. Hinse occupied a variety of managerial positions for the Canadian Tire Corporation in stores of the Montreal region.
