Lieutenant-Colonel A.F. Boisvert-Novak, CD

Lieutenant-Colonel Boisvert-Novak joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 2001 as an infantry officer. With the Royal 22e Régiment, he served with the 2nd and 3rd Battalions, holding several key positions including platoon commander and company commander. He also assumed command of a training company at the Canadian Forces Leadership and Recruit School.

At the operational level, his service includes several international deployments, namely to Afghanistan with Operation ATHENA, first as part of the Kandahar Battle Group in 2007, then as a Liaison Officer with the British Gurkha, and in 2009, as a Battle Captain in a combat team. In 2010, he joined the Operational Mentor and Liaison Team as a Company Mentor. In 2016, he took part in Operation IMPACT as an Operations Officer during the fight against the Islamic State.

As a staff officer, he has gathered experience in positions at the Chief of Military Personnel Headquarters, the Office of the Vice Chief of the Defence Staff, and most recently, at the Canadian Army Headquarters, where he served as the Army G5.

Lieutenant-Colonel Boisvert-Novak is a graduate of the Université de Montréal and the Canadian Forces College. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master's degree in Defence Studies.

He was promoted to his current rank in 2022 and appointed as the first Commandant of the Non-Commissioned Member Leadership College in the summer of 2023.

Chief Warrant Officer D.R. Limon, MMM, CD

Chief Warrant Officer Limon enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces in November 1990 as an Infantry soldier. Upon completion of basic training, he was posted to the 3rd Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI), in Esquimalt, B.C. This was followed by a posting to 1 PPCLI in 1994.

After completing various battalion positions as a Master Corporal and Sergeant, CWO Limon was posted to the 3rd Canadian Division Training Centre (3CDTC) as a Platoon Second-in-Command and promoted to the rank of warrant officer in 2009. In 2010, he was posted to Royal Military College Saint-Jean as the Operations WO until returning to 1 PPCLI in 2013. In 2014, he was promoted to the rank of MWO and was employed as Rifle Company Sergeant Major and Quartermaster Sergeant Instructor (QMSI).

In September 2018, he returned to 3CDTC as QMSI until June 2019, when he deployed on OP IMPACT as Sergeant Major of the Canadian Training and Assistance Team – Jordan until August 2020.

In August 2020, he was promoted to his current rank of CWO and appointed Regimental Sergeant Major of the 4th Canadian Division Training Centre in Meaford. In August 2022, he was posted to the 6 Canadian Combat Support Brigade (6CCSB) and appointed Senior CWO.

On July 3rd, 2024, CWO Limon was appointed as the first Brigade Sergeant-Major of the Multinational Brigade Latvia.

He returned in August 2025 and assumed his current position as Chief Instructor of the Non-Commissioned Member Leadership College in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

During his career, CWO Limon deployed on numerous operations: Croatia in 1992 and 1994, Kosovo in 1999, Bosnia in 2003, Afghanistan in 2006, Latvia in 2017, Jordan in 2019/20, and finally Latvia as the Multinational Brigade SM in 2024/25.
