The RMC Saint-Jean MilSkills team is a dedicated group of naval and officer cadets selected to represent the institution in prestigious competitions such as the Sandhurst held at the United States Military Academy (USMA) in West Point. The training and preparation required for this competition embody RMC Saint-Jean’s commitment to developing leadership, resilience, and teamwork among its naval and officer cadets.
Each year, naval and officer cadets seeking the best opportunities to push their limits take on the challenge of participating in an intensive, week-long selection process. Once this decisive stage is completed, team members undergo a preparatory program to develop their mastery of a wide range of military skills. Training includes physical conditioning, endurance exercises, and team-building activities to enhance coordination and cooperation.
Team members also receive specialized instruction in land navigation, Pistol and Rifle marksmanship, combat first aid, obstacle course navigation, and water survival techniques. The rigorous training program ensures that each team member is mentally and physically fit to face the highest challenges presented in competition environments.
