Prerequistes for Admission in the Certificate in International Studies
A. Requirements – Students with schooling in Quebec:
1. High School Diploma.
AND
2. University or College Level courses completed with success, as follows :
- Two University courses completed with success in disciplines associated with humanities and social sciences (e.g. Political Science, History, Economy, Anthropology, International Law, Psychology, Literature);
OR
Four College Level Courses completed with success, detailed as follows :
- Two College Level Literature Courses completed with success; and
- Two College Level Courses completed with success in the Social Sciences (e.g. Political Science, History, Economy, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology);
* For all these cases, provide diplomas and school transcripts.
Exceptionally, upon recommandation of the Programme Chair:
- Military Instruction or Professional Experience deemed sufficient by RMC Saint-Jean, based on a one-page letter of application presenting this experience or training;
B. Requirements – Students with schooling outside Quebec:
1. High School Diploma.
AND
2. University or College Level courses completed with success, as follows:
- Two University courses completed with success in disciplines associated with humanities and social sciences (e.g. Political Science, History, Economy, Anthropology, International Law, Psychology, Literature);
OR
Other than the 11th and 12th grade Literature Courses completed with success, two High School or Community College Level Courses in the Social Sciences completed with success (e.g. Political Science, History, Economy, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology);
* For all these cases, provide diplomas and school transcripts.
