RMC Saint-Jean is proud to announce the official launch of the Research Chair on Reserve Force. Jointly led by Professors Yann Breault and Ian Parenteau, the new Chair will implement a research program focused on the organizational and operational challenges of the Primary Reserve within the Canadian Armed Forces.
Established through a collaboration between the Director Reserve Force Knowledge Management and the Office of the Dean of Research at RMC Saint-Jean, the chair will combine RMC Saint-Jean’s research expertise with institutional data to foster greater understanding of the strategic role of the Reserve Force within the Canadian Armed Forces.
The official launch brought together key partners, including representatives from the Reserve Force Strategic Initiatives, researchers from RMC Saint-Jean, and members of the College’s leadership team. Together, they highlighted the importance of this new initiative in military studies for the future of security and defence research in Canada.
