July 13 to August 8, 2026, Nicolae Bălcescu Land Forces Academy, Sibiu, Romania

The new Research Chair on Reserve Force established a summer research internship program connected to the activities of the Interallied Confederation of Reserve Officers (CIOR), whose annual symposium was held in Bucharest from August 3 to 7.

Following a field research mission focused on the realities of reservists in Romania and the challenges associated with ongoing military reforms, Officer Cadets Alain and Gulin actively participated in the work of CIOR’s Strategic Communications (STRATCOM) Committee alongside representatives from several allied countries. Accompanied by Professor Breault, they also attended the academic symposium held in the Romanian Parliament, which this year focused on the challenges of information interference.
