The following personalities will be inducted into the Royal Military College Saint-Jean Hall of Fame during a ceremony to be held on 6 September 2014:
- Lieutenant-General (ret'd), the Honourable Roméo Dallaire, Senator;
- Brigadier-General (ret'd) Jack Cadieux (posthumous induction), Commandant Royal Military College Saint-Jean from 1971 to 1973 and recipient of an Honorary Doctorate from Royal Military College of Canada;
- Professor David Daniel Ruddy (posthumous induction), History and Political Science professor from 1963 to 1988 and founder of the Fort Saint-Jean Museum; and
- Mr. Gilles Ouimet, Royal Military College Saint-Jean Ex-cadet, industrial leader and recipient of an Honorary Doctorate from Concordia University.
The Induction Ceremony will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 p.m. in the Dextraze Building.
The Royal Military College Saint-Jean Hall of Fame was inaugurated on Saturday, 7 September at 10:30 a.m. in the Dextraze Building.
During this ceremony, four highly distinguished dignitaries were inducted in the Royal Military College Saint-Jean Hall of Fame. The Honourable Joseph A. Day, Senator; General (retired) Walt Natynczyk; Lieutenant-General (retired) Richard Évraire; and Professor Jacques Castonguay, former Royal Military College Saint-Jean Principal, are the first inductees of the Hall of Fame.
Lieutenant-General the Honourable Roméo A. Dallaire, Senator, was also selected as an inductee; however, he will be inducted at a later date.
