Drill, Colour Party and Silent Drill Competition at RMC Saint-Jean

Drill, Colour Party and Silent Drill Competition

On Saturday, April 11 at 8:30 a.m., the drill, colour party and silent drill competition of Royal Military College Saint-Jean (RMC Saint-Jean) will take place.

The Cadet Wing Squadrons, consisting of Tracy, Iberville, Richelieu and Jolliet, will be represented by a team.

The event will begin with the Commandant and the College Chief Warrant Officer’s inspection.
The three parts of the competition will follow one another during the event live broadcast.

To ensure neutrality, the judges were recruited outside the unit and they all have in-depth knowledge of the three aspects of the competition.

In addition to being presented with a trophy, the colour party competition winning team will be designated as RMC Saint-Jean’s end-of-year parade official colour party. As for the drill competition winning team, they will be presented with the Navy Bowl trophy.

In addition, these events are part of the Commander’s Cup, the winner of which will be crowned during the end-of-year parade with the Class of 1978 Trophy. For all these reasons, each squadron is training meticulously to present high quality performances.

Given the limited number of places inside the CWO Couture pavilion, the event is not open to the public. However, a live broadcast will be offered.
